Each one of our clients is very valuable to us and we want to make each photography experience as enjoyable as possible. In order to make sure we are on the same page, we have created the following studio policies for all weddings & photo sessions:
Your session fee covers the photographer’s time and talent, planning and consultation meetings, basic retouching and photo editing, and an ordering session. It does not include any finished products or portraits unless expressly stated. Some sessions do include digital files. Please be sure to check with Mary Clark or Garrett prior to your photo session if you have any questions about what is included in your session fee.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your session, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your session if possible. We understand that sometimes things just come up – we will happily reschedule your session at our earliest available date. Respectfully, we also reserve the right to reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, death in the family, inclement weather, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Please be at the planned location and ready on time for your session. We want to give each client our full attention as well as the full amount of time for their photo shoot. If you know you are going to be a few minutes late for your session, please let us know. If you are over 20 minutes late for your scheduled time, psalm27creative reserves the right to cancel your session. Keep in mind that weekend sessions are in high demand, and although we will go to great lengths to meet your scheduling needs, these sessions are booked well in advance.
We accept check and credit cards. 9.25% TN sales tax will be added to all appropriate sales according to the law (including packages that include digital files).
When you book your session or wedding, you will be emailed an invoice, and you can pay directly with a credit card at that time. You can also mail us a check, but it must be received within one week of booking in order to reserve your photo session or wedding date.
In Person Ordering Session & Art Consultation
If desired, we will schedule a time to look over your photos together in person. The purpose of this viewing session is to go over our fabulous photo products. We will guide you through the process and help with any questions, as well as making some suggestions especially for your portraits.
We often like to do these art consultations in your home as we have a special software that allows us to show you how your lovely images will look on your walls. For example: a large canvas above the mantel, or several smaller framed prints in the entry hall.
If you cannot or do not wish to have an in person ordering session, we can answer any questions you have right over the phone, and you can place orders by email or right in your custom gallery.
All orders should be placed within 30 days of the session and must be accompanied by a 50% down payment. Final payment is due at the time of order delivery or pick-up.
We make every effort to ensure complete satisfaction, but because of the uniqueness of custom portraiture and products, all sales are final. Additional costs may be incurred should you change your mind once an order has been placed. Defects in workmanship or product will be promptly corrected.
Please allow 2 weeks for standard print orders; 3 weeks for custom products; and 1-2 months for albums (including design & proofing).
Based on your photo session type or package, you will have a custom online gallery for a certain length of time (usually 1-3 months). Once your event gallery expires, your photos will be archived for 1 year to create room for future photo sessions and events. If you need to order products, or purchase digital files after your event expiration date, we can absolutely do that! But please note there is a $50 fee for retrieving photos from the archive. So be sure an contact us before your event expires!
Psalm27creative owns the copyright to all images. It is illegal to copy, scan, or reproduce photographs or digital images without permission. This includes but is not limited to: scanning wallets or a proof on your home computer, putting images on websites without the express written permission of photographer, taking a screen shot of an image to print on a photo product.
We want for you to share and enjoy your images. We just want to make sure they look their absolute best!
When you purchase or receive digital files, you will be given a print release which gives you permission to print your images up to a certain size. But we do hope that you will come to us to order your photo products – it’s our job to find the absolute best products for our clients, and we stand by everything you order through us. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible if you print your photos on your own and are unsatisfied with the quality of the final product.
We are committed to your privacy. Information collected from clients in person, over the phone, in emails, or through our website will never be sold or given to third parties.
Our business and brand is photographs, thus we do use photos from our sessions on our website, blog, and social media. If you would like for us to refrain from posting your images on our blog or elsewhere online (or in print), please let us know and we will happily honor your request!
Please let us know if you have any other questions about our policies!
